I heard this news from ShreyaJain(sjlovesjewelry) that Maybelline is launching the V-Face Blush/Contour products in the Amazon India Fashion Week which is right now happpening in India. She announced this at a Nykaa event in our city and I was lucky enough to get an invite from the Nykaa team. So I was really looking forward for these products to launch in India. I was searching about these in the Maybelline website and to my surprise, I really did not find anything about them. So I thought why not search in some online websites and yeah I found these in our very own Amazon website. And without wasting a minute I grabbed all the three products.

The Duo stick comes in a huge long dual ended retractable bullet stick. It consists of one darker matte shade for sculpting/contouring the face, and one shimmery lighter shade for highlighting the higher points of the face. Both of them are creamy based. The texture is buttery smooth and very easy to apply on the face. It does not tug or pull the skin while application, hence making easy to work with.
I picked the DARK shaded stick. Even the darkest shade didn’t match my skin tone. The contour shade was almost my skin color. It is just one shade darker than my tone which i think would serve me like a very light hint of bronzey look. However, the highlighter performed well. The fine shimmery glow in it gives a subtle glow to the skin upon blending it.
The same rules apply – I used the contour shade of the of crayon to trace the top of my forehead, the sides of my nose, the hollow underneath my cheekbones, and over my jawline – sculpting my face. Then, the highlighter shade to the center of my forehead right above my nose, down the bridge of my nose, my cheekbone, and a little goes on the brow bone as well .
Overall, been it suitable for darker skin tones as well, this Duo stick would be a great drugstore buy. Buy still this duo stick is my favorite out of the whole range.
