I choose the PINK Shimmer Brick. It has got 4 different golden shimmer dusted blush/highlighting shades.
PACKAGING – The Lakme Absolute Illuminating Shimmer Brick comes in a regular, compact plastic case packaging with a see-through lid. There is nothing fancy about the packaging. This doesn’t offer any mirror nor any brush applicator for the application purpose. Since it is Sabyasachi curated collection, I see a whole new blush pattern here. This blush is definitely a shimmery one for the illuminating looks to create, as the name already tells it. It comes in 4 different shades- so it is a 4-in-1 shimmery blush quad which can be individually be used as eyeshadows and also as highlighters too. So, this is a multi-tasking blush palette.
The shimmer brick has the soft and smooth texture to it. The powders are superfine and not at all powdery. The brick has very very very finely milled golden shimmers to it. The texture of this blush is smooth and it glides on easily with one swipe only. It is pretty well pigmented. It has medium-high coverage. And can be easily buildable accordingly. For the longevity, this shimmer brick stays on for a good 4-5 hours.
I am totally not a shimmery blush kind of a person, I need my blush to be hell matte. And since this one is designed by my favorite designer Sabyasaachi and is a Limited edition category, I thought I should give this shimmer brick a definite try. I am more towards the tan and warmer/deeper skin tone and shimmery blushes make us look the worse. For me at least this is not for my daily use, but I can definitely carry this on festives and occassions.
Overall, this illuminating shimmer brick is a versatile multi-tasking palette. If you are a shimmer lover then you would love this shimmer brick by Lakme.
