Maybelline is hitting the Indian markets with all the hyped over products. I’ve seen almost all international YouTubers and bloggers rave about them. Here’s one such product, which I picked up from my recent Nykaa hauls – the MAYBELLINE FACESTUDIO MASTER STROBING CREAM. This post is about this cute little beauty.

Maybelline’s Facestudio Master Strobing Liquid Illuminating Highlighter adds radiance and dimension to the face for the ultimate glow. Discover the illuminating strobe effect in a micro-pearl liquid formula. Strobe to add glow and to create the look of skin that appears radiant as if lit from within.

Four ways to glow : Wear alone, Mix with primer, Mix with foundation, or spotlight high points of the face.

  • Enriched with a micro-pearl liquid formula
  • Easy application and blending
  • Doesn’t crease and skin looks naturally radiant

PRICE – INR 700/- for 18ml of product.

SHADES – There are 2 shades available in the Strobing Cream range –

  1. NUDE
  2. PINK

I choose the shade NUDE as it would compliment warm Indian skin tones.

HOW  TO USE –

  • Step 1: Apply to desired areas of the face. Use it after priming the face for that glowing look or use only on the high points of the face as a liquid highlighter.
  • Step 2: Dab dab dab. Blend with fingertips.

The Maybelline FaceStudio Master Strobing Cream comes in a cute little travel friendly flat tube. The nozzle is very comfortable to use, and it gives control on how much product to dispense. Don’t get confused with the Liquid Illuminator and the Master Strobing cream, coz both of them are one and the same but with little shade variance.

This strobing cream is just like a pearl cream, as it claims to be, it has micro-pearl liquid formula. It has very very micro shimmers in it, which is just as perfect and it blends in like butter. It has very smooth texture to it. It doesn’t have any particular smell to this cream, but somewhere it faintly smells like plastic(maybe the cream has taken the plastic packaging smell). The glow is although that bang on, it just has that soft subtleness in its glow. Once blended it doesn’t smudge anywhere or crease, and also it doesn’t feel any tackiness on the skin. It’s not completely transfer-proof, it is very slightly transferred. Setting it with any powder highlighter would make it a total bang-on as it doubles up the highlighting game.

The shade NUDE is just perfect for our warm Indian skin tones. I did find the Pink shade a bit cool toned, so I ignored it. I’m not that comfortable in using an illuminator all over my face, so I better use it on high points of my cheeks and on the budge of my nose, and it gives that soft subtle glow. A little goes a long way, and it has to be blended very quickly as the cream dries out fast and it leaves that driedup patch. Blending with fingertips is the best way for the blending game, and also any small sized stippling brush works well. I use this Strobing cream on my bare skin even when I don’t wear any makeup to my high points as it gives that healthy-glow-from-within look(which I absolutely love).

This Maybelline Master Strobing Cream stays for a long time. It doesn’t move or budge anywhere once blended.

Overall, I’m pretty impressed with this Maybelline FaceStudio Master Strobing Cream. I totally did not expect this strobing cream to have that great quality. Anyone who loves liquid or cream highlighters, I’ll definitely tell you to try out this one. And also it is travel friendly and beginner friendly, as it is very affordable.
