I’ve got the shade 13 MURPHY BROWN with me. Hands down to Sugar cosmetics for giving such beautiful tricky names to each and every lipstick and eyeliner and nail polish. How would you even think of giving them such names!!?

The SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick comes in a regular crayon form with the color code at the bottom and the shade name printed on the body. Each lip crayon comes with its own specially designed high quality sharpener. With  that being said, these are not retractable and there is a wastage of product when sharpened.

The shade MURPHY BROWN is a deep chocolatey-burgundy color which suits almost all skin tones. The lip crayon has a soft and smooth texture to it which glides on like butter without any tugging on the lips. It has great pigmentation – I would say 100% pigmentation (this shade especially). This creamy lipstick sets to a flat matte finish which does not budge from its place until removed. It is not completely transfer-proof, as in first few sips of any liquid would leave a light imprint on  the cup, after which it turns non-transferring. This Murphy Brown shade had lasted 6 hours non-stop on my lips surviving all kind of meals. I’m totally surprised by that, because most of the previous shades that I tried did not last that long besides some of the lipstick wearing off from the inner rim of the lips. This one, even though the lipstick wears off from the insides of the lip, it kind of leaves a stain which actually merges with the lipstick giving it a fuller look. And this shade absolutely went on smooth, not at all accentuating any of my dry patches nor lip lines.
