ELF BLUSH PALETTE – DARK |Review, Swatches

ELF Cosmetics is one of my favorite brand. Nope, I haven’t had/used any Elf product till now, but seeing so many blogger and vloggers thoughts on them, I had a huge wish list from Elf. And I know the struggle that the most affordable international drugstore brand being way pricey crossing all the seas to come to India. But I finally finally and finally have this cute palette in my hands now. Presenting the ELF STUDIO BLUSH PALETTE

This beautiful blush palette holds 4 gorgeous shades to mix and match throughout the year for a custom blended color. Great for contouring, shading, sculpting, and highlighting, these silky smooth blushes create a beautiful pigmented glow. With a mixture of complimentary matte and shimmer finishes, you can achieve a professional look every time. Enjoy 4 complementing shades that allow you to mix and match to create different looks. Create a beautifully pigmented look that lasts all day.

PRICE : $6 for a 4g product. I got mine from an instagram seller, @BudegetBeautyIndia.

  • Use the shades individually or create your own custom blush by swirling a blush brush over your chosen shades.
  • Apply the blush to the apples of the cheeks and blend out using circular motions.
  • The formulas can also be worn as eyeshadows too.

The packaging is standard. It comes in a 4 pan matte black square palette with a huge full-sized mirror. The best thing about these palettes is that each pan can be popped out, which gives us access to mix and create our own palette if you have more that two palettes. It is a very good travel-friendly palette.

I chose the palette DARK as I found that the LIGHT palette shades might look pale on me. The Dark palette has all warm toned blushes which would complement Indian skin tones, hence this palette. This palette has a –

  1. Dusty Peach shade
  2. Hot Pink shade
  3. Dark Coral shade
  4. Mauvey Brick shade

The blushes have a buttery smooth formula. As expected, the blush shades compliment medium-deep skin tones perfectly. The powders are not at all chalky, they do blend into the skin very well. They are greatly pigmented. A little goes a long way and a very  light hand is required in applying these blushes. The third shade in the palette looks very shimmery to eyes, but while swatching it I totally did not see any shimmers. And these do stay for a good 5+ hours on my skin.

I absolutely love this blush palette. And this is my go-to palette. I love the concept of customizing our own colors to make our own palette. And the blushes being so pigmented, I sometimes use them as eye shadow too, as I love warm eye looks.

What do you think about this blush palette?? Lemme know your thoughts on it… untitled1
