SHADES : The L’Oreal Le Stylo Smoky Eyeshadow comes in both matte and metallic finishes with 11 different shades.
I’ve got just one shade with me, 116 AURORA SKY.
PACKAGING : The Le Stylo Smoky Eyeshadow comes in a sturdy pencil crayon form. It has the retractable crayon on one end and the kabuki blending brush at the other end. I love the fact that it comes in a retractable crayon so I don’t have to worry about sharpening these and waste most of the product. The packaging makes it very convenient to carry it around in even small wallets/clutches.
HOW TO USE THE LE SMOKY EYESHADOW STICK –
- Color – With the highly pigmented eyeshadow crayon.
- Blend – Using the ultra-soft kabuki brush.
116 Aurora Sky is a matte Sapphire blue shade. This instantly brightens and wakes up any dull eyes and gives a pop of color to the eyes.
TEXTURE : The Le Stylo Smoky Eyeshadow has a one-stroke intense pigment with a super soft and creamy texture to the crayon. It glides on super smooth on the eyes, without any tugging or pulling. In one swipe we get the max pigment and it is definitely a buildable formula too. It takes 1-2 or max 3 minutes to set completely to a transfer-proof finish. In that 2-3 min time span itself, the blending game has to be done. For the matte shades, blending after it sets down is kind of difficult.
Talking about the brush, it does the job of blending pretty well. It is definitely not a blending brush that we see and use in general, but it has that ultra soft bristles for making the eyeshadow get into the skin. It has that dome shape to fit in that crease area. And also the brush has kind of densely packed bristles.
Oh I totally forgot to mention, since these are smudge-proof and transfer-proof shadows, they can be used on the waterline as well. And it can also be used as a lip shade too. There are few gold, bronze and pink shades which can be used as cheek products as well.
Overall, with a cute and compact packaging, and with a on-stroke intense pigmentation, I absolutely love this multi-utility L’Oreal Le Stylo Smoky Eyeshadow stick. These come super handy while in a rush or when an immediate plan change. A highly recommended product from my side. I so wanted to try other shades as well, but the price tag is letting me think so much before investing in them.
