In my DECEMBER EDITION GLAMEGO SUBSCRIPTION BOX came this MANNA KADAR GLO ILLUMINATOR. I was over the moon ever since I knew that my subscription box came with an international branded product and that too an illuminator, I couldn’t be more happy. I immediately put it to test, and in this post I’ll be reviewing this beauty.

Incandescent highlighter that can be used on the face and body to create a beautiful “Glo”! Formerly known as Sheer Glo, the newly re-formulated, Glo Illuminator is an incandescent liquid that lights up your skin giving it an all over radiance. Mix with foundation or wear alone to provide a luminous glow for all skin types. This is an especially amazing product for mature or dry skin. Glo Illuminator provides a youthful glow and dewy finish. Use on face and/or body and get glowing.

PRICE : $29 (which is around INR 2100 in India) for a 20ml product.

I got this Glo Illuminator in my Glamego December Edition. I should literally thank Glamego team for adding it in their box, as I would personally never invest in 2000 bucks on a cream illuminator😜.

HOW TO USE –

  • For those who desire a more dewy look apply this product with your Flawless Foundation or BB Cream.
  • To achieve a natural healthy shimmer, apply to entire body.
  • Apply to collar bones to have them appear more pronounced.

The packaging is very simple, it comes in a sleek and travel friendly tube format. It is very easy to carry it around and easily fits into handbags. The tube is kind of a see-through one, so the product inside is actually seen.

The Glo Illuminator is a rose gold sheer coverage illuminator. It is a cream based illuminator with pink undertones, which is claimed to be either mixed with foundations or applied on top of foundation or directly applied to the bare skin for a natural dewy look. But this illuminator didn’t do anything for me, sadly, when I tried to mix with foundation, mix with BB cream, or apply on top of my foundation. Mixing with foundation or topping on it, was a total fail for me. Nothing showed up nor did I find any difference with or without the illuminator.

Here are the swatches.

I wanted it to work so bad on my makeup but I gave up after several tests and trials, and finally I used on my bare skin on the high points of my face. Okay, it kind of showed up. It gave that pinkey dewyness, phew finally! And it was a beautiful from-within glow. I totally love it. Thankfully, it doesn’t enhance any of the pores and it is totally non-sticky. The dewy effect did last for 5 hours all alone on my bare face.

Overall, I find myself using this Glo Illuminator more on my bare skin for that dewy look on my no-makeup face. As I mostly bare no-makeup face, I love to carry it that way. I really feel this Glo Illuminator gives that pinkey flush on pale skin and will show up better on them.

What do you think of this MANNA KADAR GLO ILLUMINATOR?? Did it work for you? Lemme know your thoughts… untitled1
