This is my first ever Lippie Stix collection from Colourpop Cosmetics, and I guess I’m the only makeup addict who hadn’t tried these yet. Why haven’t I had these before, knowing the fact that they’re the best sellers from Colourpop. And as usual you’re right if you guessed if I bought them for any offer. Yes, all this was possible when Colourpop had a 1+1 sale during the Holiday season, and why wouldn’t I get my hands on them. Even though it was super tough keeping an eye on the pour-out of my money during Christmas time, I still managed to pick 3 shades for which 3 were free, so it comes to a total of 6 shades. In this review, I’d be talking and swatching these Lippie Stix for the first time!

The packaging of these Lippie Stix are pretty simple, besides being very chic. They are very convenient to carry them around everywhere. I love the holographic emboss print on the Lippie Stix as well as on the outer cardboard boxes, they look absolutely stunning. On the outer box the shade name is mentioned on a sticker at the bottom, whereas the Lippie Stix have the color coded base with the name on it which makes us very easy to pick our favorite shade when in a hurry.
These lippie stix have a beautiful creamy formula which glides on the lips like butter, and also feels very very comfortable on the lips. They have a buttery smooth texture to them. And they’re extremely pigmented, in one swipe we get a fully opaque finish. These Lippie Stix set to a velvety matte finish, which transfer a bit onto coffee mugs or glasses. The transfer is very little which doesn’t alter the pigmentation of the shade though, the color is still rich enough. In case of very lighter shades like the nudes and pale pinks, there would be patchiness added after a couple of hours of wear-time. Thankfully I did not choose such lighter shades and went with darker and rich shades.
After a couple of hours after application, these lippies do feel a bit dry and they kind of enhance the fine lip lines and make the lips looks dry. So a really good lip balm has to be applied and prep-ed before wearing these Lippie Stix.
These Lippie Stix don’t really have any scent. Or maybe I was overly mesmerized by its formula and pigmentation that I haven’t really cared about its fragrance much. They did stay on for a good 6 hour period on my lips without any snacking or so, and once I started to eat something the pigmentation from the inner rim just completely disappears, and then with any heavy oily foods expect only the lipline to be left at the end of your meal. They’re not transfer-proof lippies, which I wish they were, for such amazing quality product.
Here are the swatches of the shades I have.

Overall, I’m totally drooling over these Colourpop Lippie Stix. And I cannot appreciate myself enough for picking such gorgeous everyday wearable shades that go well on every Indian skin tone. If you’re yet to try these Lippie Stix from Colourpop, do try atleast one shade from them and I bet you’ll love them! as much as I did.
