In this post, I’ll be talking about the Loreal True Match Super Blendable concealers. These concealers were initially launched in only 3 shades, which came in small tubes and now Loreal has extended its range by adding more shades with a new packaging and new name – True Match #TheOne concealers. I found these concealers on Nykaa at a 50% off sale and that’s the sole reason I picked up quite a few of them, just in case I could use them in different ways.

I quite liked the True Match Super Blendable concealer which I first purchased and went ahead to experiment with some more shades, that’s when I found out about the new range of concealers. Loreal, quite some time ago, launched its new True Match The One concealers, to match every skin tone so that each girl can have her shade to conceal.
Packaging, as you’ve seen there are two different ones here. The smaller tube is the one which Loreal initially launched, which comes with a little brush applicator. And the long tube ones are the recent addition of concealers to the family with new shades and new packaging. These come with a long doe-foot applicator for application purpose. Surprisingly, there’s nowhere mentioned on the tube or anywhere its name ‘TheOne’, even when you google Loreal concealers you’ll be able to find only the Super Blendable ones, only when you google ‘The One’ concealers you can find them. Also these long ones remind me much of the Maybelline Fit Me! concealers.
Shades I got –
- N4-5 Light/Medium
- N6-7-8 Medium/Deep
- 6.D/W Golden Honey
- 7.R/C Amber Rose
The ‘Super Blendable’ concealers have a thick and smooth creamy consistency and they do give medium-full coverage. They apply very smoothly and need to be blended in quickly because once dried it becomes difficult to blend. Whereas, I do find the consistency of the ‘The One’ concealers much liquidy when compared to the older ones. I also find that the coverage of these concealers is sheer-medium coverage, although they’re build-able. These need atleast two layers to get that full coverage. I’d totally not recommend to use them alone, as it won’t cover up any blemish or spot.
These concealers set to a demi-matte finish, which has to be set with any loose powder to avoid any creasing. On my oily skin, I make sure I use the concealer over my foundation and set it with powder. In that way I make sure it lasts for longer period. And it did stay for a good 6 hours, after which I did notice little creasing and had to touch up my under eye area with my compact.
N4-5 light/medium is a neutral medium shade, which will suit most wheatish to dusky skin tones. For me, it serves as a highlighting shade.
N6-7-8 medium/deep is just tad bit darker than N4-5, thats it. I don’t see much of a shade difference between both of them. But still this one has got deep orange tones in it. And I use this shade as my spot corrector/concealer.
6.D/W Golden honey is a yellow toned light beige shade, which would suit all the fair-medium skin tones perfectly. I can still make use of this shade as my highlighting shade by mixing it with the N4-5 or N6-7-8 shade and blend it thoroughly.
7.R/C Rose amber is a red toned brown shade. The C indicates cool toned, but I don’t really notice any such. This shade s best suited for any NC45-50 above skin tones. This is totally not my shade, but I’ll try mixing with my lighter foundations to match my skin tone and work it out. Or maybe I can use this as a bronzer for the red tones it has, and for the thin consistency it’ll be okay.
Overall, I like the performance of the Super Blendable concealers compared to the The One concealers.
Did you try these Loreal Paris True Match ‘Super Blendable’ & ‘The One’ Concealers?? What do you think about them?
