Innisfree is the first natural brand from Korea, which is dedicated to share the clean and pure energy of nature for healthy beauty. It shares the benefits of nature from the pristine island of Jeju, allowing for vibrant beauty and pursues an eco-friendly green life to preserve the balance of nature. Widely popular worldwide, this brand is creating spaces where nature and skin can rest in the green energy of pure Jeju. It was the first Korean skincare brand to launch in India, and also my first Kbeauty brand to start my new skincare journey and fall in love with. And one of the most popular product being the Green Tea Seed Serum, I had to try this beauty. It was the Christmas sale that really made me steal the deal of the Holiday Limited Edition-Winter Skincare Puzzle Collection, with which I got this Green Tea Seed Serum. In this post, I”ll be talking about this most hyped skincare product.
A moisturizing serum with organic Jeju green tea and green tea seeds that hydrate your skin from deep within, the green tea seed serum is formulated with freshly squeezed Jeju green tea and Green tea seeds to create a dewy and clear skin from deep within.
- Rich in amino acids and minerals, green tea from Jeju’s own green tea leaves hydrates your skin. So you can expect more moisture and freshness with 100% green tea.
- It has Dual Moisture-Rising Technology derived from green tea and green tea seed oil. The fresh green tea deeply hydrates your skin and the green tea seed oil creates a strong moisture barrier to keep your skin moisturized longer.
- The first thing to apply after a face wash! As the first skincare product you use, it helps hold moisture in your skin and prevents moisture loss.
HOW TO USE : Pump a dollop of the Green Tea Seed Serum on your hand and apply it on your face and neck. Gently pat the product into the skin.
PRICE : INR 1950/- for a 80ml product.
Packaging, the Green Tea Seed Serum comes in a light-weight, easy to carry green colored translucent bottle. My outer packaging might look bit different from the regular one, as I mentioned that this was part of the Winter Skincare Puzzle Collection and so it has got the Christmas Theme on it. Its got a pump for the product to dispense, which makes it convenient to carry it anywhere. I personally love serums that come with pump or a dropper, that way the application is easy and also very hygienic. The bottle is kept translucent so that we can keep a check on the quantity of the product inside.
The serum has a transparent runny formula to it. It has got a very mild and pleasant green tea fragrance to the serum, which is not at all bothering or irritating even for the sensitive skin people. I have oily-combination skin, and I need 2 pumps of the serum to cover my entire face and neck. I apply the serum all over my face and neck in an upward direction, and then gently pat-pat-pat my skin for a couple of minutes. The serum really gets absorbed into the skin in seconds. I feel like my skin just drinks up all the serum. All I feel is a super hydrated and nourished skin. My skin is so soft, supple and healthy that I cannot resist touching it again and again. The serum is absolutely light-weight and non-greasy/tacky. Moreover, this serum did not break me out.
I’d used this serum during the cold weathers, as this was my skin savior in my extreme dry skin condition. And I’m still continuing using this in the hot summers too. I use this serum right after my Cleansing->Toning routine, in my both AM and PM routine. During my dry skin condition, I had to top of this serum with a moisturizer for the extra hydration, but as the summer’s in I’m just using the serum alone by itself which gives me enough moisture to my skin. My skin has definitely loved and enjoyed this serum.
Overall, I really see why is this Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum is so hyped and is the top bestseller product, obviously it has to be! I’m super impressed with this serum and how it makes my skin supple and soft and healthy giving it abundant moisture to it. I’d definitely recommend it to everyone.
