Packaging, the KOHL OF HONOUR INTENSE KAJAL comes in a regular black body with the Sugar logo and the name of the product along with the shade name mentioned on the body. The outer carton box is a Sugar themed box with all the necessary details mentioned as well. The kajal comes in a retractable form, which is pretty impressive as there’ll be no wastage of product. The packaging is pretty much similar to any Colossal kajal from Maybelline, or Eyeconic kajal from Lakme. Pretty basic and simple packaging I must say.

Black Out is a classic black kajal what everyone looks out for. The kajal has a hard creamy formula, infact a waxy formula that does not irritate the eyes. And due to its  waxy formula, the kajal definitely tugs the skin when used on the lids. On the waterline, it just glides on very smoothly and easily. It has great pigmentation – not so intense but just gives a good black pigment what we expect from a regular kajal, in just one swipe. But this can be builded and made to a intense black look by lining over it twice or thrice, and voila you have a super intense dramatic kajal. It definitely takes a minute or two to dry/set down to a velvety matte finish, which is pretty much smudge-proof and fade-proof. Yes, it is not 100% smudge-proof, as towards the end of the day you’ll definitely see the eyeliner budging.

I’m not a kajal kind of person, I don’t usually wear kajal(or infact any eyeliner) on my water line. I use kajals, kohls, liquid liners only on my eyelids to wing it out. I wore this kajal for a good 12 hours(yes! 12 hours to test it thoroughly) on my bare eyes, and I’m talking about my winged liner. And it stayed smudge-proof on my lids for about a good 6-7 hours. It was only after 7 hours that I found my liner smudge a little but nothing sort of a raccoon eyes though.

Oh BTW this kajal is very gentle to handle, I broke the tip twice while winging my eyes. Although I feel happy that there’s no product wastage in sharpening and stuff, but this extra soft tip is prone to breaking very often which breaks my heart.

Here are few styles of winging I tried using this Kohl Of Honour Intense Kajal –

Overall, if you’re looking for a decent quality kajal for everyday use that falls under a budget you’re most likely to like this SUGAR KOHL OF HONOUR INTENSE KAJAL. I’m very impressed by the way it stays on my lids all day hardly smudging or fading away. And moreover, it did not cause any irritation to the eyes. I’d definitely recommend this kajal to everyone, and even to the beginners who’re just looking for a good quality kajal to start their makeup journey.

Did you try the new SUGAR Kohl Of Honour Intense Kajal?? Which liner style did you like btw? Lemme know your thoughts….
