I’ve only known Palmer’s has body butters and skin oils for stretch marks and post-pregnancy care, until a friend of mine talked about her curly hair routine and she mostly uses chemical-free shampoos and conditioners for her hair. And I was surprised to see these Palmer’s products, and that’s when I bought my first hair care range from Palmer’s. I picked quite a few hair care products and have been using them and loving them. In this post I’ll be talking about the PALMER’S MANUKA FLOWER HONEY – STRENGTHENING SHAMPOO & NOURISHING CONDITIONER.

I picked a combo of shampoo and conditioner which is available at 50% off. You can get the same HERE.
AVAILABILITY : The Palmer’s Manuka Flower Honey Strengthening Shampoos and Conditioners are available at Nykaa, Purplle and Amazon. I did see these at one of the Palmer’s counters at a local beauty supply store, but I’m not sure if its available at all beauty supply stores.
Packaging, the Palmer’s Manuka Flower Honey Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner come in a long white colored plastic bottle. Both of them come in a 350ml (12 fl.oz) bottle which is enough for a one month use for my mid-length hair. All the description and list of ingredients are mentioned on the backside of the bottle with other details as well. The packaging is very simple and decent, not a travel friendly one because I generally don’t pick huge bottles for my tours but for a long vacay I’ll definitely pick it.
The shampoo has a cream colored silky formula to it. It has a beautiful floral – honey mixed kind of fragrance. Nothing over-powering, but a refreshing fragrance. I usually dilute my shampoo in water and pour on my scalp and then slowly massage it. The shampoo doesn’t lather crazily like the regular shampoos, remember this is an SLS-free shampoo, so it takes time to lather. One tip I’ve learnt from these paraben-free, SLS-free and sulphate-free shampoos is that the more water I keep adding (in between the massages), the more lather it gives. P.S. that being said, please don’t over-massage or over-shampoo. I usually give only a 2-3 minute massage or a max 4 minute shampoo massage if I oil my hair, and leave for a minute or two for it to do its work and then rinse off thoroughly.
Then comes my conditioner time!
I squeeze out all the excess water out, take a generous amount of the conditioner and apply along my hair lengths. And I leave the conditioner for max 5 minutes, meanwhile I finish off with the rest of my body. And I give a final rinse to my hair with cold water (or room temperature water). I don’t use hot water on my hair and scalp at all. I don’t mind if some of the conditioner is still in my hair, that’s completely okay with me.
The Results — Miracles don’t happen with just shampoo and conditioners. It’s just a way to take care of your hair. And that’s what this shampoo conditioner does. It made my hair clean and fresh after the wash and even on the second day my hair still looks healthy and full. I did not experience any dryness or hairfall post the shampoo routine which is a yay for me. The conditioner is absolutely my fav. The Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter in it made my damaged hair so much nourished. It just felt so soft and manageable after towel drying my hair. I’m totally impressed with this Palmer’s Manuka Flower Honey Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner, and I’d definitely recommend it to everyone. And I really wish the rest all ranges of shampoos and masks be available in India soon.
Did you try the Palmer’s Manuka Flower Honey Strengthening Shampoo and the Conditioner?? Lemme know your thoughts……
