When I first was so into the Korean skincare seriously, and when was searching for a good night serum popped this Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule. Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule for beautiful skin! The highly concentrated essential ampoule helps create flawless skin by promoting the skin’s natural power to improve its condition daily. Also helps to brighten skin and reduce signs of aging. I managed to get my hands on this so called dupe for the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum, and I’ve used this completely to give my honest thoughts on this Ampoule in this post.
Highly concentrated essential Ampoule to help make sleek and firm skin with translucent tone and healthiness by improving skin condition. Four types of Ferment Lactobacillus Complex containing Purple Energy Lactobacillus Ferment ingredients.
One of Missha’s star products, this ampoule helps to give you a dewy, supple and clear complexion. The key ingredient for this anti-aging serum is Bifida Ferment Lysate, a fermented yeast that visibly reduces signs of aging and improves skin elasticity while protecting the skin. Often compared to Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair as its less expensive dupe, this serum has developed a cult following due to its ability to repair and hydrate, giving you luminous smooth and even-toned skin with regular use. The formula may be powerful, but it’s gentle enough for those with sensitive and acne-prone skin.
PRICE : $49 for a 50 ml product.
I bought mine from Beautybarnindia. If you’re from India and want to get your hands on this ampoule, check out their website and also few other K-beauty stores which sell these. Or you can also get it from K-beauty online websites which do ship out internationally/worldwide.
HOW TO USE : After cleansing and toning, apply this serum at night after or in place of your essence, before moisturizing. Squirt a half-dropper into the palm of your hand and spread over your skin, patting in to aid absorption.
INGREDIENTS : There are probably a 50 or more ingredients infused in this little magic bottle. And I’m sure it is tough for someone to actually go through all that list just in case to make sure you’re not allergic to anything.
For people like me, who loves to go through the ingredients, it was so satisfying reading every ingredient – each of it/most of them being a nature extracts and ingredients that our skin needs.
Here’s what Cosdna certified the ingredients,
Packaging, the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule comes in a really luxurious purple carton box with gold fonts on it. Most of what’s mentioned on the box is Korean language(correct me, if I’m wrong). The bottle is a purple-to-amber ombre kind of glass bottle which has a dropper mechanism for easy convenient application. I did find some bottles come with a pump dispenser rather than the dropper one, but I feel this dropper thing gives that luxe look. This bottle, being a glass is quite a heavy and probably break prone, so it’s better not to carry it along.
The ampoule is an amber colored viscous liquid. Less than one or probably half a squirt of the ampoule is enough to cover the entire face and neck. This ampoule doesn’t, or I should say does have a floral/ferment like smell to it, which disappears in seconds after massaging it into the skin. It feels very light weight and very comfortable on skin having a slight slip to it, yet providing a boost of hydration to the skin. It does take a minute or so for the liquid to absorb, but absolutely gets drunk by my skin leaving it so dewy and luminous. It is not at all greasy or tacky and doesn’t clog the pores. And most importantly, it doesn’t cause any skin irritation, at least I haven’t noticed any.
This night-time ampoule contains a rich cocktail of fermented products, the main one being Bifida Ferment Lysate, which is a fermented yeast that helps reduce signs of aging and improve skin’s elasticity. While repairing skin damage, this ampoule also helps to hydrate and brighten the skin to create a more even skin tone. This ampoule stands out gentle enough even for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
Oh! Did I mention that this ampoule actually worked so good on my skin. I could visibly see my skin texture getting smooth and shiny right from the first week of use. Shifting to a complete K-beauty skincare routine is the best decision I’ve made. I could see that glow every morning with every nightly use. I’d wake up with a supple and soft skin every time I used it. For a month, I did use this all alone by itself, meaning I did not use anything along with the ampoule – no essence, no moisturizer and no eye cream. I applied this to my entire face, eyes and neck right after cleansing and toning. It instantly moisturized my face that I didn’t need to go with my moisturizer on top, so I thought I’ll probably continue to use it alone to see it work. I see it repair my damaged skin and improve the skin elasticity with night to night use.
The formula packs in an impressive number of great-for-your-skin ingredients and anti-oxidants. I see a ton of flower extracts and seed extracts which act as anti-inflammatory on the skin, at the same time moisturizing it. The minimum composition of Retinol, a great anti-aging agent makes this highly potent Ampoule absolutely non-stingy and totally skin friendly even to most sensitive skinned people.
Overall, I’m totally in love with this although not-so-inexpensive yet highly potent Ampoule. Packed with 4 types of Ferments and a ton of active ingredients, this Ampoule works great on the skin. I’d definitely recommend it to everyone – every skin type, even the most sensitive skin people. Although I haven’t tried the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum, which I cannot afford it though, I think I will only stick to this Ampoule. As heard from other reviews, everyone did state both being like exact dupes, it’s only the matter of expensive and inexpensive issue.
Did you try this Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule?? Lemme know your thoughts on this if you did try it…..
