AZAFRAN COSMETICS VRINDAVAN COLLECTION FACE PALETTE |Review

I have known Azafran for its good range of skincare catering all skin needs, but what came to a surprise is the new cosmetic line from Azafran brand. Yes, this brand has recently launched Azafran Cosmetics, a makeup line from which the very first product being the VRINDAVAN COLLECTION FACE PALETTE, which is a complete face palette as the name suggests inspired from/by the Vrindavan. The palette is truly a Desi Fusion palette! And thank you Azafran cosmetics for sending this across to test it out. In this post, I’ll be talking about this new Indian palette in town, in this post.

A palette you need; to design face and eyes that truly dazzle. Set consists of eye shadows, blush and highlighter.

Packaging, probably I should admit that till date this palette has got the most gorgeous packaging (of the Indian origin ones). Totally love the way how Indian and traditional the art goes on on the palette. The palette does come with a outer carton box which is again something differently packed. The whole Vrindavan Collection palette comes in a dark green themed with Radha playing in the garden with peacocks – such an amazing thought. Every detail about the palette along with the names of each shade is mentioned on both the outer box and, at the back and inside the palette as well. This palette has got 9 eyeshadows, 2 blushes and 1 highlighter shade. It also comes with a huge mirror, and there’s art going on everywhere on the inside well. But this palette doesn’t include any brushes/applicators, which I’m totally okay with. The palette is quite hard and sturdy, and does have a magnetic enclosure which shuts close securely. Totally feels like any high end palette itself.

Firstly, the eyeshadows – all of them being shimmery shades, they are decently pigmented and have smooth buttery formula. I was surprised to see them blend effortless without any patchiness. I used the dark shades to define the crease and also in my socket area and they did work well. The lighter shades are beautiful to go on the lids. I only wish there were one or two matte shades to set the base and give depth to the crease.

The blushes have a have a satin finish to them. I love the way they give a natural flush to the skin. Blushing Tulip really is a universal shade, just depends on how light or how intense you wanna have it. Rosebud Pink does go beautifully on fair to medium skin tones, and might seem disappointing to deeper skin tones. Even though it looks bright in the palette, it doesn’t show up much and one needs to build it up. Yet if youre someone who likes very light flush of color, then both the shades are absolute perfection. They don’t show any chunks of glitter/shimmer on the cheeks on application, they give a beautiful natural glow from within look.

The highlighter, Honey Gold shade is a very universal again, champagne shade pretty much goes well with every skin tone. It’s quite a subtle and soft shade. I like the fact that the highlighter gives a natural from-the-inside kind of glow. For someone like me who loves bang-on highlight then it’s suggested to be used over a little spritz of makeup setting spray for that blinding glow.

Created a look using the following shades –

I do like how that highlighter on my cheekbone and the inner corner of my eye is so popping..

Overall, I’m very much impressed with this new Indian palette in the town, and I hope there will be many more coming in future. For 9 eye shadows, 2 blushes and a highlighter shade, this palette is a real deal. This one palette does save the time and space. Being cruelty-free and vegan, I would recommend this palette to everyone. I totally didn’t find any cons with this palette, I only wish if they’d included a base shade and a crease shade which would preferably be matte.

Did you try the new Azafran Cosmetics Vrindavan Collection Face Palette???
