VICHY DOUBLE GLOW PEEL MASK |Review

Double up your GLOW game with this mask! This Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask really keeps up its words in giving a luminous glowing skin in just minutes. Although this luxe tub is kinda expensive, I think it is a total worth giving a try. In this post I’ll be talking about this peel off mask.

Vichy’s first Double Glow Peel Mask with Volcanic Rocks and AHA Fruit Acids to gently peel off dead cells through a double-peel action for refined skin texture and luminous glowing skin.

Vichy Double Glow Peel Face Mask is a 5-minute radiance booster for luminous and glowing skin. Immediately after application of the peel mask, skin is gently exfoliated to look fresher and more radiant. In 1 month, skin texture looks refined, and suppler. Face mask is formulated with Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHA), which is composed of 5 plant extracts (blueberry, sugar cane, maple sugar, orange and lemon) to gently exfoliate skin surface. Volcanic rock particles, help to gently exfoliate dead skin cell. While the face mask stays on skin, it chemically exfoliates with AHA’s and then the volcanic rocks provide a mechanical exfoliation as you rinse it off

  • Hypoallergenic
  • Paraben-free
  • Tested on sensitive skin under dermatological control for safety

PRICE : INR 1500/- for a 75ml product.

I got this Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask from a local beauty store. I could not find any links to buy this online. You can get it directly from the official website otherwise.

INGREDIENTS : Aqua, Alcoholdenat., Glycerin, Dimethicone, Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethanesulfonic Acid, CI 14700, CI 19140, Carbomer, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruitextract, Saccharum Officinarum Extract, Pumice, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Mannose, Ascorbylglucoside, Disodium EDTA, Caprylylglycol, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Fruitwater, Citrus Limon Fruit Extract, Acer Saccharum Extract, Xanthan Gum, Parfum. Code F.I.L. : C185392/1″.

HOW TO USE IT :

  • Apply face mask, avoid eye area.
  • Wait 5 minutes and gently massage to exfoliate.
  • Rinse off. Use 1-2 times a week.

Packaging, this Double Glow Peel Mask comes in a sturdy typical Vichy glass jar with a mirrored lid. Typical, because only if you’ve used any other Vichy creams that come in the standard glass jars. It also has the outer carton box, with all the description about the product and list of ingredients etc details. The jar is quite huge and hefty to carry it during travelling, so definitely not a travel-friendly jar but it looks so luxe on your vanity desk.

This mask has a fresh watery gel texture with real micro volcanic rock particles for a gentle exfoliation. To put it in simple terms, it is just like aloevera gel. The refreshing aqua fragrance maximizes the sensorial experience.

As directed, I apply it with my mask brush and let it sit for 5 minutes. The mask starts to slightly tingle in a minute, and it stays for that 5 minutes. The tingling is quite mild and I think is tolerable for sensitive skin people too. After the 5 minute suggested time, the mask does dry down a bit and I massage it circular motion to exfoliate and the rinse off. It does wash off in just 3-4 splashes of water. Post rinse, my skin feels so fresh and radiant. I can feel my soft, supple skin immediately. I’m glad that this mask does not dry out my skin at all, making it suitable for dry skin people as well. I usually use this in the morning times, but due to the AHA extracts present in it, I’m sure it’s suggested to use in the evening routine and top up with a sunscreen the next day.

Bottomline, I love this Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask. I find this as a quick-fixie mask for that instant glowing skin without any dryness. My skin texture definitely improved with every use.
