GARNIER SKINACTIVE MICELLAR CLEANSING GEL WASH |Review

I know how much ever the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water has been raved about in the past years, and still going on, it’s the cult favorite Micellar Water for everyone. I love mine too, I was at my local beauty supply store where I accidentally stumbled upon these (not even introduced in India) Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash and I’ve seen two variants from them and also being very affordable. And I immediately put in my basket and checked out with both of them. In this review, I’ll be talking about these interesting ones.

GARNIER SKINACTIVE MICELLAR CLEANSING GEL WASH – FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

Our all-in-one Micellar water Cleansing Gel Wash for sensitive skin, not only cleanses and removes make-up even on the eyes and lips, but also soothes the skin.

  • Gentle for all skin types – even for sensitive skin
  • Removes make up + cleanses + soothes, rinse off
  • Face, eyes, lips + no perfume
  • Grape extract
  • Dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested

HOW TO USE IT? Apply to a wet face. Foam up with water and massage gently in circular motions on face focusing on lip and eye area. Rinse off. In case of direct eye contact, rinse immediately.

Packaging, this cleansing gel wash comes in a transparent bottle with a pink colored pump. The packaging seems quite similar to the Micellar water ones. The transparent bottle gives a peek as to how much product is used/left. The gel wash has a watery clear gel consistency and also has a subtle fragrance similar to the Micellar water. This comes in a 200ml bottle for around INR 400/- change (I don’t exactly remember the price at which I bought). And also I’d like to mention that the bottle has every detail about the product -like ‘what is it?’, ‘who can use it?’ and stuff. If you give that a thorough read, you’re sorted for what you need for your skin.

This gel wash can be used both to remove makeup and also in regular skincare. I use it both ways. When using to remove my makeup, I’d take one full pump diluting it with water and massage my face. It really feels cooling and soothing while massaging. It foams up great and also feels gentle on the skin. Post rinsing, surprisingly it removed all the makeup – the foundation, liquid lipstick, eyeliner, brow mascara completely, I’d say about 95%. But for the eyes there were still traces of mascara and kajal/kohl, for which I had to remove with extra cotton pad or cotton swab. My skin feels soft and clean and very much hydrated. And I’m glad this did not irritate or break out my skin, instead is very gentle.

GARNIER SKINACTIVE MICELLAR CLEANSING GEL WASH – FOR COMBINATION & SENSITIVE SKIN

Our all-in-one micellar water cleansing gel wash for combination and sensitive skin, not only cleanses but also soothes and mattifies the skin. It removes make-up, even on eyes and lips.

  • Gentle for all skin types – for combination & sensitive skin
  • Removes make up + cleanses + mattifies skin
  • Face, eyes, lips + no perfume
  • With Grape extract
  • Dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested

HOW TO USE IT? Apply to a wet face. Foam up with water and massage gently in circular motions on face focusing on lip and eye area. Rinse off. In case of direct eye contact, rinse immediately.

Packaging, this also has the same kind of packing as the pink one, except for this gel wash comes with a green colored pump dispenser. The colors are a great way to recognize your favorite cleanser or micellar water.

Functions pretty much same as the pink one, this one additionally mattifies the skin. I do feel a light mattifying feel post rinsing. This green one’s for combination and sensitive skin. Enriched with naturally-derived Grape Extract and Active Micelles that capture impurities, sebum and make-up like magnet, this gel wash is a great way to wash off makeup and cleanse the skin at the same time.

I love the fact that I don’t need to first remove my makeup and then use my normal cleanser, with these Micellar Cleanser gel washes I could just replace all that hassle. If I’m not wearing any makeup, I simply use this as my regular cleanser for my skincare routine. I should say I’m lucky enough(touch wood) that neither of these gel washes break me out.

Overall, I’m totally impressed with these Micellar Cleansing Gel Washes. Having normal-combination skin, I liked both of them equally. They pretty much do the job of cleansing the skin, in addition to removing the makeup, being very mild and gentle on the skin. Glad that they’re different variants for different skin types. This would be a great pick for people who don’t wanna take the hassle of pre-cleanse and then normal cleanse, this one step gel wash would do the job of two.

Did you try these Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Gel Washes?? Which one did you try? Lemme know……
