SHADES : SUGAR launched 7 new RED shades in their nail lacquer collection and this collection is exclusively named as the Red Alert Nail Lacquer Collection. I was sent 4 of them, and I’m glad I got all the three finishes in my box. Here are the shades I received –
- 056 CHERRY JANE (Classic) – a pink based red
- 057 RED OF ROSES (Classic) – a bright classic red
- 058 SCARLET O’ HARA (Matte) – matte red
- 061 RISE FROM THE RED (Pro) – a foiled red shade
Packaging, the SUGAR TIP-TAC-TOE NAIL LACQUERS come in a transparent square glass bottle with the Sugar logo and the collection name on it. The matte shades have a frosted matte glass packaging to match the theme, obviously. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the bottle. The brush tip is a flattened flat top brush, which covers the whole nail bed in two swipes, but it kind of becomes difficult to get through the curves with the flat tip. On the whole, the packaging is quite convenient to carry it around in handbags.
These nail lacquers are one of the best in the Indian markets I must say. They’re no less than any high-end international branded nail lacquers. They have a smooth finish to them. The classic shades are just close to any gel nail polish. They have that intense opaque color in just one swipe, and the finish and its shine is so out of the world. These lacquers hardly take time to dry, even if coated twice on the nails. I generally go for 2 coats just get that extra intensity of the color. Even the mattes dry up quickly and they set to a beautiful matte finish. The matte-ness stays put for a good 2 days after which the matte becomes a normal one.
These nail lacquers stay on for a good 5-7 days. If you’re a person who involves in household duties and does all sorts of work, then it stays for good 5 days. I do some of the household chores but I haven’t noticed these chip, rather they’d just fade from the tips. And if you’re a person who don’t do a lot of chores, then this will last for a full week. They’ve such great longevity, I’m so much impressed by that.
Don’t ask me my favorite, I just cannot choose one. Its such a hard decision. I’m so in love with these Red Alert Collection by Sugar.
Overall, SUGAR is just nailing these TIP-TAC-TOE NAIL LACQUERS in the hot new shades of Red. You cannot go wrong with any red shade. I’d definitely recommend these to everyone. These nail lacquers are gonna make your paws look stunning!
