Packaging, this British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask comes in a hefty dark brown glass tub with a matte black screw lid. It does come with a outer carton box as well, with all the description about the mask, the ingredients list and how to use instructions on it. Having this huge and heavy body, travelling with it makes a bit uncomfortable job.
HOW TO USE :
- After removing makeup and cleansing the skin, use the Facial Mask Brush to smooth an even layer of the mask onto the face avoiding eye and lip area
- Apply to neck and decolletage if desired
- Leave for 5-10 minutes then rinse off with warm water and a muslin cloth in circular motions to gently exfoliate
- Use 2 to 3 times a week
- Use multiple masks to target your skin’s personalized needs
Upon opening the lid, there’s another white pull-up lid for that spill-proof packaging. Once pulled out, we’ve this amber colored gel kinda mask with the rose petals in it. The gel formula makes the mask very easy to apply on the face, and this mask smells divine; of roses. The fresh rose fragrance really feels so soothing and calms the senses. Having big nails, I like to apply this mask using my masking brush, which is obviously the safe method of application.
The mask is intended to be left on for 5-10 minutes, but I let it on for about 20, or sometimes even 30 minutes if I have enough time. Since this is a gel mask, most of it is literally going to be absorbed by the skin just leaving a sticky feel which has to be rinsed out. The soft rose petals feel comfortable on the skin, and do not irritate. The mask has got this cooling sensation right with the application, which subsides in few minutes. Post rinsing off the mask, my skin feels amazingly soft, smooth and supple. It definitely brings in life to dull and tired skin. I also found my skin being fresh and radiant post rinse. My skin is so much quenched with moisture. If I’m masking at night, I like to top it with any overnight mask for an extra oomph; and if I’m masking in the day time, I’ll make sure I moisturize well. This mask is definitely meant for all skin types.
Overall, this Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask is a great mask if you’re struggling with dull, tired and dehydrated skin. This would be a great fix for dry skin people, as it hardly requires your 5-10 minutes to mask. I’d definitely recommend this to everyone; only if you think you can spend all your penny on it.
