MY EXPERIENCE ON MAYBELLINE FIT ME BLUSH-208 MEDIUM NUDE:-
The Maybelline FitMe Blushes come in a rectangular black plastic case with a transparent lid. Inside is the blush in a square pan and also a brush applicator is included. It doesn’t come with the mirror, which isn’t a problem with me. But with that price tag and that huge packaging, i guess a mirror doesn’t give a hitch. And the brush applicator is a total fail. the thick hard bristled brush is just a no-no to me. Frankly speaking the brush applicator is just like a flat broomstick. It picks up product pretty well, but while applying there is a lot of fall off due to the hard bristles. I mean its better not to include a brush like this. Instead a mirror would serve us better.
Talking about the shade- I picked the shade 208 Medium Nude, which is a mauve-ish pinky nude shade. Looks like a total matte blush, but it has very subtle satiny sheen. Absolutely suitable for every…i mean every Indian skin tone. This is a neutral shade which is perfect for everyday wear.
The pigmentation of this blush is medium. It gives about light-medium coverage on the skin. Since it’s almost a nudish mauve shade, it doesn’t pick up that much color on the cheeks, but due to the sheen it gives a nice soft glow to the face. It blends in smoothly and evenly on the cheeks. It is totally buildable. This blush gives a satin-ey finish to the skin with a subtle glow on the face. It stays on for about 4-5 hours unless our hair/hands keep on rubbing against it. (A lot of girls have a habit of leaving their hair down or maybe the fringes/bangs or keep their hands on their cheeks/chin accidentally, which tends to rub off the product.) If you do not belong to that category then the blush should stay on for 4-5 hours, otherwise it goes on for about 3 hours max.
- Suits most Indian skin tones.
- Smooth and silky textureV
- very subtle sheen in the blush.
- Gives very natural finish.
- Doesn’t feel chalky/cakey on the skin.
- Gives a soft glow with the shimmer in it.
- Packaging- No mirror, Bad brush applicator.
- Price- anything above 300 for a blush is pricey for me. But still i can afford it. Few may find it a con.
- Pigmentation- the Cheeky Glow blushes served more better result than these.
