Clinique products are the most hyped up, at least as far as I’ve known, especially the Moisture Surge range. I’ve seen so many beauty guru’s, YouTuber’s and bloggers talk so much and rave about this range. Clinique has been long launched in India (waaay back) but it took me so much time to finally get my hands on a worthy product. I came across this Clinique Moisture Surge Gift Set which almost retails as much as the Moisture Surge alone, so why not grab it coz ‘a great deal’. And here it is…

I would never ever in my life invest in very high end skincare/brands (and that too on a normal moisturizer) until and unless there’s an x-factor in it. It was purely this deal that I happened to get it. No offense CLINIQUE, I know you’re a wonderful brand! I only hope you guys were a bit more affordable, after all you definitely want everyone to try out and use your products.Clinique Moisture Surge Gift Set
AVAILABILITY : I got mine from Nykaa, and I think it is available only online and at Nykaa itself. I’m not sure if its available at Clinique stores.
CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE 72-HOUR AUTO-REPLENISHING HYDRATOR
Clinique’s Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator is a refreshing gel-cream that gives your skin the power to rehydrate itself. It keeps the skin almost twice as hydrated and delivers a 152% instant moisture boost. Skin appears plump, dewy and glowing from the inside out for non-stop 72 hours. Advanced hydrator with Auto-Replenishing Technology actually helps skin create its own internal water source to continually rehydrate itself. Then locks in all that moisture for an endlessly plump, dewy, healthy-looking glow.

Technically, all the products come in a set, and I threw away the box but I assume they came without any individual box packaging. This moisturizer comes in a hefty clear glass jar with a silver screw lid and this is a full sized product. Travelling would be a hassle with such heavy glass jars, but I assume there are smaller versions of this Moisture Surge hydrators which can serve well while travelling. The moisturizer has a gel-creme consistency which absorbs into the skin very quickly. It feels super light on the skin and it does have a pleasant fragrance to it which lingers for quite some time.
What makes this the most hyped or best seller from the brand is the advanced auto-replenishing technology that helps skin to create an internal water source to continuously re-hydrate itself throughout the day. It is also infused with Aloe, Hyaluronic acid, Glycerin, and Green Tea leaf extract that soothe and deeply moisturize the skin. Yes, indeed it deeply moisturizes the skin and keeps it plump for the day. I bought this during the freezing winter time, during which it did not actually hydrate my skin enough. So I wasn’t liking it much and did keep this aside, and now during the summers and monsoons I am close to finishing this tub. Its gel formula is pretty much lightweight on the skin and keeps me plump throughout the day. And during the nights, I top up the hydration game with the Overnight Mask.
CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE OVERNIGHT MASK
Did you know skin loses moisture while you sleep? This Moisture Surge Overnight Mask is a rich, penetrating creamy, oil-free facial night mask deeply moisturizes and replenishes all night long. It soothes and nourishes to help skin stay hydrated. You’ll wake up to soft, dewy, glowing skin. Recommended for all skin types. Oil-Free. Non-Acnegenic. Ophthalmologist Tested.

I assume this is a travel size or the mini version, and this Overnight Mask comes in a 30ml pretty light peach-ish tube with a flip open cap. This mask is a thick cream with a peach tint to it, and almost has no fragrance to it. The formula is quite thick and a bit heavy on the skin. If you’re using this alone, you’ll feel okay with it -meaning it spreads easily and absorbs quickly into the skin. But if you’re layering skincare steps, then adding this at the last step would be preferable and it’ll obviously look a bit heavy and greasy with all the below layered products. I’m the one who follows the latter, and I don’t mind in getting my skin heavy and greasy with skincare products before I hit the bed. This mask would be great for dry skin people as it intensely moisturizes and replenishes the skin overnight. And all you’re gonna wake up to is a beautiful soft, smooth and plumped skin.
CLINIQUE ALL ABOUT EYES EYE-CREAM
This Clinique All About Eyes eye cream is a lightweight eye cream diminishes the appearance of puffy, under eye circles. Non-creep, cream/gel formula actually helps hold eye makeup in place. Ophthalmologist tested.

This eye cream is again a mini version, and I’m glad even though this is a 5ml product it did come in a beautiful pot just as the bigger size – a clear small pot with a silver screw cap and just the name of the product mentioned on it. This is a gel-based eye cream again with a peach-ish tint and no fragrance. It has a lightweight formula that quickly sinks into the skin and thankfully does not irritate the under eye area, at least I did not experience any such. Getting straight up to the point, this little boy did not do anything for my dark circles, but it definitely kept my eyes moisturized and well hydrated for the whole day.Clinique Moisture Surge Gift Set
