Essence Cosmetics has some amazing products at really best affordable pricing. The sole reason I bought all random stuff from Essence is because they’re such budget-friendly, I have to admit it. And one of the bestsellers of Essence was their ombre blush, I always wanted one for myself and it was the Heat Wave shade I adored but it vain I never got it, so I thought I’ll get another shade. Here I am, with the Essence Blush Up! powder blush in Pinky Flow.
Treat your cheeks with the latest make-up trend using the Essence Blush Up! Powder Blush. A cool and unique blush with a color gradient that sets on your cheeks gorgeously. Its silky, semi-translucent texture provides subtle coverage and gives you an adorable, flushed look.

PRICE : INR 399/- for a 8g product.
I bought mine from Nykaa a while ago, but now it’s unavailable and I think Nykaa is not stocking up them from a long time.
INGREDIENTS : Talc, Mica, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Isostearyl Neopentanoate, Magnesium Carbonate, Zinc Stearate, Alumina, Aluminum Hydroxide, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Ci 15850 (Red 7 Lake), Ci 19140 (Yellow 5 Lake), Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499 (Iron Oxides), Ci 77891 (Titanium Dioxide).

Packaging, the Essence blush comes in a totally clear plastic case. Chic and very beautiful packaging. Doesn’t come with any brush applicator or mirror, but I’m completely okay with it. For the price point, I know I wouldn’t be getting it all. Shade name and rest details are mentioned at the back and oh, the backside has a color code going on same as the shade.

The shade PINKY FLOW is a candy pink shade, and the gradient starts from a pale pink to medium pink to a bright candy pink color. The shades can be used individually or swirl the brush all over for a mix of shades – use it according to your mood, this is so multi-utility blush. The shade however is not that flattering on tan or deeper skin tones but looks beautiful on fair-medium skin tones. And this is a shimmery blush. Ugh, a little not my type of blush, but yeah if you’re someone who likes shimmer blushes this one’s for you. For my NC44-ish skin tone, I swirl the brush through the bottom color and apply to my cheeks. And its only for any Instagram looks only that I could use this, I simply don’t prefer to use it on a daily basis or even for any occasions. I miss that Heatwave shade though.
